Rooftop Solutions utilizes a patented filter which is a revolutionary design that significantly eliminates the #1 problem of other filters Š Poor Air Flow. The filters we utilize pick up microscopic particles such as dust, pollen, soot and spores. A cubic foot of air contains many millions of these pieces of matter, measured in microns. Most of these particles are very small, measuring less than 5 microns.

The average filter picks up particles such as the human hair, measuring 85 microns in diameter, and some particles as small as 15 microns. The filter captures all of the largest and more of the smallest particles, ensuring the air that passes through is as clean as possible.

Improves Air Flow

The filters we utilize are a continuous filter media that is bonded to a thin wire mesh, leaving an amount of filter materials on the top and bottom of the filter that extends beyond the wire mesh.

With this extra material at both ends, it creates a virtual seal and you are guaranteed a custom fit inside your machinery. And, by omitting the cardboard frame used in other filters, this is more effective in directing air flow through your equipment.

Reduces Air Bypass

This patented system keeps air and dirt from bypassing either between or around the filter because it uses 100% of the housing space. Other filters have extraneous cardboard and gaps of porous mesh that constrict air flow and allow microscopic particles to get through.

The filter utilized by Rooftop Solutions filter creates a virtual seal all around the entire housing so air and dirt won't escape. By eliminating metal spacers and cardboard commonly used in other filters, we ensure that air and dirt have only one path - through the filter.

All air and dirt is forced through the filter, trapping dirt particles in the filter rather than in the systemÕs coils, extending the life of your equipment. Because the filter is oversized and creates a custom-fit for your machine, every possible inch of space is occupied with filter material. This forces air to pass through, not around, the filter as it does with ordinary box filters.

Dirt is trapped in the filter, thereby preventing it from collecting on your coils and creating a costly maintenance situation. Air is cleaner, dirt is trapped in the filter and the life of your equipment is prolonged and protected by using an efficient air filter.
